Soul to Sole Ventures helps companies seeking outside assistance in areas of business development. The clients we service come to us mainly because they are: 1) seeking equity investment/expansion capital; 2) trying to attract a management team or a strategic partner; or 3) attempting to attract an underwriter for the purpose of taking their company public.

We approach each client's project as though their company was our own.

We are a business development, consulting firm offering numerous services that help our clients build their businesses. The foundation of what we do, however, is creating sensible business models and strategies by combining our client's vision with our years of business development experience, together with the insight of our advisors and industry experts. Once this business model and vision is refined, we begin the arduous task of creating appropriate investment due diligence documentation. This documentation typically includes a comprehensive business plan, investment brief, overview and investor presentation.

Depending upon the client's industry and the level of difficulty associated with communicating its concept, we may also include an interactive CD investment profile overview. This CD includes digital video interviews and other appropriate video material designed to highlight the industry's uniqueness.

Philosophy

We believe that developing a credible business model, which is attractive to potential investors, is as much about good people and strong relationships as it is about the investment opportunity itself. In keeping with that philosophy, we approach each client's project as though their company was our own. Since we do take an equity stake in the significant majority of our clients, it's certainly in our best interest to make sure our job is done right.

Evaluation Process

We primarily look for opportunities that are early- to middle-stage, in the aforementioned industries. Although our criteria is much more stringent for Internet companies, we will still review opportunities in this area.

When we evaluate a company as a potential client, we look at that company from the investor's point of view. As a result, we are interested only in those investment opportunities that are capable of generating the ROI required by sophisticated investors. In the case of the start-up venture, we look for companies with potential to become substantial organizations, either through patented technology or other unique aspects such as a niche market. For established companies, we look for firms with strong management teams that are primed for outside investment to propel them into prominent market positions.

Once we've determined that we can assist you, we will submit a formal proposal outlining our fee structure and any other deal points relevant to your company's project.
